DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Arsenii Titov (IPPP)\nIn this talk\, I will review a
new and very interesting approach to lepton flavour\, based on invariance
of the supersymmetric action under the modular group. The couplings in th
e considered modular-invariant models of lepton masses and mixing are modu
lar forms which\, as well as matter superfields\, transform in irreducible
representations of a finite modular group $\\Gamma_N$. I will concentrate
on the minimal scenario in which the only source of modular symmetry brea
king is the vacuum expectation value of a single complex field\, the modul
us. In this scenario\, there is no need to introduce flavons. After review
ing how to construct the basis for the modular forms of weight 2 and level
4\, I will present minimal phenomenologically viable models based on $\\G
amma_4 \\simeq S_4$ in which neutrino masses are generated via the type I
seesaw mechanism. While successfully accommodating charged lepton masses\,
neutrino mixing angles and mass-squared differences\, these models predic
t the absolute neutrino mass scale\, the values of Dirac and Majorana CP-v
iolating phases\, as well as specific correlations between several observa
bles. Finally\, I will comment on construction of the basis for 11 modular
forms of weight 2 and level 5\, demonstrating how these forms arrange the
mselves into two triplets and a quintet of the finite modular group $\\Gam

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Maria Ramos (LIP\, Portugal)\nAn extended scalar se
ctor often emerges in models motivated by the electroweak hierarchy probl
em. A SM triplet is interesting because its decay is very constrained at t
he renormalizable level. Therefore\, effective operators with a low cutoff
make the triplet components decay promptly. In this talk\, I will discus
s the phenomenology of such triplet. In particular\, I will show the reac
h of ongoing searches at the LHC\, as well as projected bounds for the LH
C-HL. The extended scalar sector also modifies the electroweak phase tran
sition\, which can be first-order and produce sizable gravitational waves
. Therefore\, I will also discuss the possibility of electroweak baryog
enesis in this model and constraints from gravitational waves observator

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Nuno Rosa Agostinho\nWe perform a comprehensive stud
y of the Higgs couplings\, gauge-boson couplings to fermions and triple ga
uge boson vertices. We work in the framework of effective theories includ
ing the effects of the dimension-six operators contributing to these obse
rvables. We determine the presently allowed range for the coefficients of
these operators via a 20 parameter global fit to the electroweak precisio
n data\, as well as electroweak diboson and Higgs production data from LHC
Run 1 and 2. We also discuss and quantify the effect of keeping the terms
quadratic in the Wilson coefficients in the analysis.\nhttps://conference

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Jack Araz (Concordia University)\nThe MSSM has undou
btedly been a successful framework in terms of suggesting solutions to th
e unresolved shortcomings of the Standard Model such as Dark Matter\, the
Gauge hierarchy problem etc. However\, the lack of evidence for Supersymme
try at the LHC motivates us to investigate extensions of the MSSM basic g
auge group structure\, with the hope of finding answers to these questions
. \n\nFor this reason\, we have studied a simple U(1)' extension of t
he MSSM group structure which can arise within the Grand Unified framework
. We investigate scenarios in which either the right-handed sneutrino or t
he lightest neutralino are viable dark matter candidates and we explore th
e parameter space of different supersymmetric realizations featuring an ex
tra U(1)'. \n\nOn the side of LHC phenomenology\, searching for heavy
Z' vector bosons predicted in such models is a challenging objective. T
he ATLAS and CMS collaborations have looked for such Z' bosons assumin
g that they can only decay into Standard Model channels\, and have placed
corresponding exclusion limits by considering dilepton\, dijet and\, to a
smaller extent\, top-antitop final states. Alongside with dark matter\, we
also explore possible loopholes in these Z' searches by studying supe
rsymmetric as well as leptophobic scenarios and we proposed a possible way
to probe leptophobic Z' via supersymmetric final states.\nhttps://confer
