Flavour and Electroweak Penguins: An Analysis of the B → PP System {P ≡ π, K, η}

Description
In this talk, I will introduce the basics of fully hadronic charmless B decays and the main puzzles in this system. I will then present an analysis that we performed under SU(3)-flavour symmetry assumptions. I will show that within this framework, some parameters exhibit unexpected behaviour. Furthermore, employing input from QCD factorization results in a significantly worse description of the data. Finally, I will revisit SU(3)-flavour relations, which have been used for over two decades and argue that similar relations exist in the isospin limit, which holds to a much better precision compared to SU(3)-flavour.
