Dark matter searches with AION

Abstract: I’ll discuss the progress of the AION project, which aims to build a 10m atom interferometer in Oxford. I’ll present how atom interferometery can be used to search for ultra-light dark matter in a toy model of scalar dark matter. I’ll also discuss some of the more interesting background sources and their impact on dark matter searches.
