Heavy-flavour quark mass effects at colliders

In this talk I will discuss the role of mass effects due to the presence heavy-flavour quarks for a range of high-energy collider processes. I will discuss a method for extracting such mass effects for differential observables and then apply the method to a few phenomenological examples of interest.
