Title: "Branes!"

Abstract: The Randall-Sundrum scenario celebrates its 25th birthday, but
despite its age it continues to be a nexus for groundbreaking
discoveries at the interface of particle phenomenology, formal quantum
field theory, quantum gravity and, to a small extend, condensed matter
physics. In this talk I will explain the reasons for continued interest
in these constructions, highlighting recent insights into topics as
varied as the black hole information paradox and interface conformal
field theories.
