DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Matthew Kirk (IPPP\, Durham\, UK)\n\nLarge discrepan
cies between theoretical predictions and experimental results in non-lepto
nic B -> D K and Bs -> Ds pi decays. As the QCD factorisation framework sh
ould be most accurate in these decays\, we consider what BSM particles cou
ld explain the anomalies\, and how we can avoid previously derived LHC bou
nds. In one scenario\, I will show how typical model-building routes for c
onstructing a viable scenario remain constrained by collider measurements
except in absurd circumstances\, while in another I will present an in-pro
gress study on potentially viable parameter space\, and discuss other obse
 rvables which could be useful.\n\nhttps://conference.ippp.dur.ac.uk/event/
