Sneutrino dark matter and its signatures at collider

Description
In this talk I will present multi-lepton LHC signals arising from an extension at the grand unification scale of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) involving right-handed neutrino superfields. In this framework neutrinos have Dirac masses and the mixed sneutrinos are the lightest supersymmetric particles and hence the dark matter candidates. I will analyze the model parameter space in which the sneutrino is a good dark matter particle and discuss its compatibility with direct detection bounds. Studying the supersymmetric mass spectrum of this region, several signatures relevant for LHC arise, which are distinct from the predictions of the MSSM with neutralino dark matter. These signatures are characterized by the presence of at least two leptons uncorrelated in flavor and sign or by long-lived particles. I will discuss the sensitivity to these signals of the next LHC run and how these might be an indication of sneutrino dark matter.
