We have a bending magnet in Oxford that could be available for an exhibition. It is a room temperature magnet and was probably used to bend protons or ions, not electrons but could be used to give an idea of what an accelerator looks like to students who never had the chance to see a real particle accelerator.. The magnet is big (1m x 0.5m x 0.5m approx.) and heavy (500kg). It could be used to illustrate the poster "Accelerating particles" made by the JAI.
