Description
A threshold scan of top-pair production at a future lepton collider can provide a measurement of the top-quark mass with an uncertainty of only about 50 MeV. To achieve this level of precision, a systematic approach based on non-relativistic effective theories is required. I will review this framework and the results from the recent computation of the NNNLO QCD corrections. Then, NNLO electroweak corrections and the phenomenology of the threshold scan are discussed.
