Description
Technicolor models explain electroweak symmetry breaking as a result of nonperturbative dynamics. A quantitative control of nonperturbative effects is necessary in order to test these models against precision measurements, and to assess their capability to describe physics beyond the Standard Model. Recent progress in simulating gauge theories on a space-time lattice have made it possible to use numerical methods to address these questions. We present results from first numerical simulations of the Minimal Walking Technicolor theory and discuss future directions in this new field.
