In my presentation I will describe a simple model of the Covid 19 Epidemic. I actually derived it initially as a formative assessment for the Mathematical Modelling course that I teach during the Michaelmas term. I then decided to use it try to understand what was going on and see what we can learn from the data. So I will start by describing the model, stating what is known, how well it is known and what we do not know well or not at all. I will also describe what impact each of these factor has on the results and I will analyse the epidemic data for a few different countries.
