HC 2015 aims to provide a forum for both experimentalist and theorists to discuss the status of the experimental analysis and of the theoretical tools supporting them.
The focus is on the current status of the Higgs boson profile and on the prospects for Run II of the LHC. In particular,
  • Mass
  • Spin / Parity
  • Couplings
  • Structure
  • BSM
are addressed in the light of the upcoming precision phase at the LHC.
Theoretical implications, ranging from model-independent analyses over specific extensions of the Standard Model to more exotic modifications, will be discussed. In addition, near- and longer-term prospects at various experimental facilities will be debated.
Lumley Castle

This edition of the conference takes place in Lumley Castle, with previous editions in Torino (2014), Freiburg (2013), and Tokyo (2012).

It is located in close proximity to Chester-le-Street, between Newcastle and Durham.

To arrive by train, the best options are Chester-le-Street or Durham station and a short or somewhat longer taxi ride.

Both Newcastle and Durham Tees Valley airports are feasible options, with Newcastle airport the closer one, and with better connections to public transport. There are frequent Metro trains, from Newcastle airport to Newcastle station, taking about 25 minutes; from there, Chester-le-Street is about 15 minutes by train.

The organisers will contact the participants about two weeks prior to the workshop, to check for arrival times and to potentially arrange for a bus or shared taxis.

For accommodation all 70 rooms in the hotel have been reserved, providing full board. For 4 nights, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, workshop dinner and conference fee the price will be £650. To book additional nights, please, contact the local organisers.

If you arrange your own accommodation, the workshop fee including lunches will be £200. The workshop dinner is £50.  Accommodation in the hotel is £100 per night.
