The meeting discusses recent theoretical and practical advances and experimental needs in Monte Carlo Event Generators for the Electron-Ion Collider.  Topics in particular:

  • Status of MCEGs for (perturbative) DIS modelling in ep collisions: Electro-/Photoproduction
  • Non-perturbative modelling improvements
  • Lessons from the LHC
  • Tuning/validation with HERA data: toolchain and "missing" analyses
  • Protons to Ions: Challenges, Solutions, etc.
  • Specialised tools
  • Experimental needs: a wishlist
