Monte-Carlo support tools: future-proofing the bridge between theory and experiment

Description

In addition to developments in MC-modelling physics, the collider-physics community (from LHC to EIC, FCC, and beyond) depends on a large supporting suite of community tools, libraries, data formats, and technical machinery to produce and distribute simulated events efficiently, and at scale. But unlike the core event-generator physics, there is little official coordination of these activities. This workshop aims to be a first step to developing a coherent strategy and establishing links between tool-development teams, as well as hands-on code dev and brainstorming. Attendance is welcome to all tool developers, research software engineers, and interested parties.
