Here is an overview of the program for the school. Please consult the preliminary schedule for details.
The school will start on Wednesday morning July 1st, hence the students are expected to arrive in Lund the day before.
The school ends before lunch on Saturday July 4th. If finding flights back on Saturday afternoon/evening is difficult, some students may be able to stay until Sunday.
Lunch will be provided on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. On Thursday evening there will be a School dinner included, but the other nights the students are expected to pay for their own dinner. A list of reasonably priced restaurants in Lund will be provided.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings, there will be a pub open in the Physics Department where there will be cheap beer and time for discussions with senior MCnet members and lecturers about issues that have come up during the lectures and tutorials.
On Thursday afternoon there will be an excursion to a gigantic scuplpture called "Nimis" which is located in the "Kullaberg" nature reserve an hours drive north of Lund. A packed lunch will be provided and the excursion will be followd directly by the school dinner.
