The conference will take place in Lumley Castle near Durham (Chester-le-Street DH3 4NX). It is approximately 2 km from Chester-le-Street train station, and 15 km from Durham train station.
If you are arriving from outside the UK, we recommend:
- Flying to Newcastle-Upon-Tyne (NCL) airport. A taxi to Lumley Castle takes approximately 30 minutes and costs ~40£. The Newcastle Metro and train can also be taken, see instructions here; or
- Flying to Manchester airport (MAN) and taking a train to Durham. This takes 2h45 minutes, and taxis can be taken from Durham station to Lumley Castle.
From within the UK, Durham is easily accessible from most cities by train.
