24th August 2021: A full Covid19 risk assessment for the school is now available. You can download a copy from the overview page on INDICO. Please make sure you read the risk assessment carefully before the school starts.
At present, we expect the school to go ahead in person at Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford. However, given the uncertainty associated with the pandemic, there is still a possibility that we will be forced to move the school online at short notice. We will keep you informed of any changes via email, so please make sure you check your email regularly for updates.
In order to ensure the school is as safe as we can make it, all participants are expected to adhere to government guidelines at all times. In addition, we ask you all to adhere to the following:
- Unless you are unable to be vaccinated, we strongly recommend that you ensure you have received both vaccinations before the school starts. We cannot (and would not even if we could) require everyone to be vaccinated, but in order to keep everyone safe and to ensure the best possible chance that the school can go ahead in person, we ask you to do all you can to make sure you are vaccinated by the time the school starts.
- We will require all participants to test themselves regularly, using the free rapid lateral flow test kits that are available online or through major pharmacies, throughout the school and during the week before it starts. You will need to bring your own testing kits with you, as we will be unable to provide them for everyone.
- If you should test positive during the school, please make sure you follow government guidelines. You must also inform the School Director, so we can assist with contact tracing, if needed. We will also do what we can to assist for anyone who is required to self-isolate.
As we're sure you will understand, this policy may evolve in the run up to the school, so please check the website for updates regularly. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the School Director.
