FCC-UK: a discussion concerning UK involvement in the FCC project

Europe/London
Christos Leonidopoulos, Guy Wilkinson (University of Oxford), Ian Shipsey (Oxford University), daniela bortoletto
Description

This is a day long meeting intended to allow the UK community to discuss opportunities for contributing to the FCC, and in particular the FCC-ee.  After a session of overview talks to set the scene, there will be presentations on several detector sub-systems and candidate technologies where the UK may be well-placed to contribute.  Synergies will be discussed with ongoing work for linear colliders. Opportunities will be explored in accelerators, physics studies and theory.

Interested parties are also encouraged to sign up to the e-group fcc-uk@cern.ch.

Documentation on the FCC, in particular the CDRs, may be found at: https://fcc-cdr.web.cern.ch/

The meeting will take place over Zoom:
