Description

This topical workshop will bring together experts from the theory and experimental community to discuss recent progress in the theoretical descriptions and the latest experimental measurements. Topics discussed will include

  • Challenges for jet reconstruction and callibration, pure jets measurement.
  • Dynamics beyond FO+PS in the jet data
  • Jets vetoes and multiplicities in Dijet-systems, Top processes, V+jets  and Higgs-Boson + jets
  • BSM searches with high jet multiplicity signatures

The workshop will start at the IPPP on Monday September 19 and will finish after lunch on Wednesday 21.
There will be a number of invited overview talks showcasing the latest measurements and the developments in the theoretical description of jet vetoes and jet multiplicity observables. In particular, there will be ample time for discussions to identify where further progress is necessary.

Accommodation will be arranged at Collingwood College for those who request it on the registration form. There is information on how to reach Collingwood and the Department in the Travel Section.
