Description
The meeting discusses recent theoretical and practical advances and experimental needs in Monte Carlo Event Generators for the Electron-Ion Collider. Topics in particular:
- Status of MCEGs for (perturbative) DIS modelling in ep collisions: Electro-/Photoproduction
- Non-perturbative modelling improvements
- Lessons from the LHC
- Tuning/validation with HERA data: toolchain and "missing" analyses
- Protons to Ions: Challenges, Solutions, etc.
- Specialised tools
- Experimental needs: a wishlist
